All of us have experienced mood swings where our joyful nature takes a leave of absence. For no reason at all, you feel low when you should be feeling fine. In a desperate attempt feel upbeat, you decide to sink into something sinful stuff like a samosa or a potato wada.

Who can remain indifferent to the magic of chocolate! Though you can enjoy any bar of your choice, we say the darker, the better. Dark chocolate contains serotonin which is a natural antidepressant. This bar of ‘sweet everything’ also boosts the production of endorphins that evokes a feeling of pleasure. Now, will you be nice and share a small piece of dark chocolate?


We all know by now that a glass of warm milk at bedtime gives you a good sleep. So, the next time you are feeling low and don’t have dark chocolate close at hand, grab a glass of warm milk and chill. Packed with protein and other nutrients, this glass of goodness reduces anxiety. If you like cinnamon, cozy up in your bed and takes divine sips of warm cinnamon milk. Never knew ‘fatty’ could actually make you happy! Make a mix of walnuts, cashews, almonds, pumpkin seeds and you have just made yourself a bowl of nourishment and happiness.
