Ingredients:
- 1 cup paneer (grated)
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium green chilli
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- A pinch of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon salt (or as required)
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Method:
- Take the grated paneer in a mixing bowl.
- Add the grated mozzarella cheese to the bowl.
- Add finely chopped green chilli and coriander leaves.
- Add salt as required.
- Add the bread crumbs and mix everything well.
- Shape the mixture into tikkis or cutlets.
- Place the rice flour on a small plate.
- Coat each cutlet evenly with the rice flour.
- Heat the cooking oil in a tawa or pan. When hot, place the cutlets in the pan and shallow fry.
- When the base of the cutlet turns golden brown, flip it carefully with a butter knife and fry the other side until golden brown.
- Remove the cutlets and place them on a kitchen tissue to drain off the excess oil.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
