Eyes are the mirror to a person’s soul. But what do you do when this mirror gets tarnished with puffy eyes or dark circles? Eyes are what you notice first, and with the world being masked crusaders for a while now, even more so.

Moreover, the skin around the eyes is fragile and vulnerable. It is the first area that begins to show signs of ageing, like Crow’s Feet or Laugh Lines. With endless hours of screentime, binge-watching shows through the night, late nights, and early mornings, it’s all taking a toll on your eyes. This leads to puffiness and dark circles, which make you look weary and older than you really are. And they are tough to get rid of. But not impossible.

So, we have come up with 5 fabulous ways you can take care of your eyes. A list of DIY creams that will help you combat the problem of puffiness and dark circles. These work so well, you won’t believe your eyes!

What causes dark circles and puffy eyes?

Apart from living on the sleep-deprived, fast-track mode, factors like genetic, unbalanced diet, nutrient deficiency, fatigue, and ill health can contribute to this.

Lack of sleep is another major cause that can lead water to build up under the eyes, which in turn leads to puffy eyes. Additionally, factors like eye strain, not drinking enough water, and of course overexposure to the sun can cause puffiness and dark circles. Either of these factors can cause a problem, so let’s end this annoying

1. Aloe vera and vitamin E

Now that is what we call a powerful combo; Aloe Vera and Vitamin E work wonders in reducing under-eye puffiness and helps in moisturizing the skin too. Take a spoon of Aloe Vera gel and break a Vitamin E capsule in it. Blend well. Apply and wash off after 15 minutes.

2. Turmeric and curd

Almond rejuvenates skin cells and lessens the puffiness under the eye. For the mixture, take 2 slices of Avocado and mix it with 4 drops of Almond Oil. Apply under the eyes and rinse after 20 minutes.
