Coconut Oil with Water

We all know by now that coconut oil is touted as the beauty miracle. Take a jar and pour coconut oil in it until it is half -full. Now add an equal amount of water to it and stir well. Take around 7-8 cotton pads, immerse them in the mixture and close the lid. Whenever you have to remove any kind of makeup, just take out on a cotton pad from the jar and wipe it off. This will be gentle on your skin and leave it hydrated.

Raw Milk and Honey

Milk is one of the easily available ingredients in-house. You can opt for the raw version as it is loaded with proteins, antioxidants, enzymes and nutrients that are good for the skin. Add a little bit of honey to raw milk and cleanse your face with it. Remember to rinse it off with lukewarm water. Keep in mind this mixture can be used to remove light makeup only.

Cucumber and Milk

Take half of a cucumber and slice it into several pieces. Now grind the same pieces to get cucumber juice and add 1 tablespoon of milk to it. Dip cotton balls/ cotton pads into the mixture and wipe off the makeup from your face. Rinse your face with cold water. This will leave your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. The added advantage is that cucumber has cooling and astringent properties that will ease breakouts and helps minimise the appearance of pores.

Aloe Vera and Honey

Aloe vera and honey not only helps in removing makeup but it also helps in repairing skin damages. All you need to do for this technique is to add equal amounts of aloe vera gel and honey in a container. Now add two tablespoons of coconut/olive oil to it. Blend them all together to form a paste and store them in a jar container. Use this paste to remove makeup by massaging this onto the skin and rinse it with cool water.

Rose Water and Glycerine

Combine one cup of rose water and two tablespoons glycerine and a half cup of aloe vera together in a bowl. Now pour this mixture in a spray bottle or any simple container. You can either massage the skin with the mixture to remove makeup or spray the same mixture onto the cotton balls and remove makeup with it. This is a very simple technique and it does the work in minutes.

Olive Oil and Aloe Vera

Olive oil is another wonder that has been used on the skin for generations. It’s anti-ageing antioxidants and hydrating squalene properties make it ideal for the skin. Take aloe vera juice or gel and add olive oil to it, stir this well apply it to your face. Wipe your face with cotton pads. This will remove all the traces of makeup from your face and leave your skin hydrated.

Baking Soda and Honey

This remedy is very effective in removing any kind of makeup from your face. You just need to pour a little bit of honey on a clean cloth and sprinkle baking soda on it. Use this to cleanse your face by rubbing it gently onto your skin. This will not only act as a cleanser but also as an exfoliator.
