Skin tanning is a common condition that most of the people face. Sun rays can have a major impact on your skin and leave a stubborn tan if you don’t take precautions to safeguard your body. Sometimes it’s just our lack of knowledge about the products to be used or how much SPF we need. Whatever the reason might be, not everyone likes a tan. Here are some DIY de-tan packs that work wonders on your skin. The best part? You can make them at the comfort of your home.
Milk and lemon/orange peel
Milk acts as a natural moisturising agent and the lactic acid in it exfoliates the dead skin. The orange and lemon peels contain vitamin C in them that help to lighten the skin and get rid of the tan.
Step 1: Take 1 tablespoon of raw milk and orange or lemon peel powder each.
Step 2: Mix them together to make a smooth paste. If you feel the consistency is runny, you can add more peel powder to it.
Step 3: Once the paste is ready, you can apply it on the tanned area of your body.
Step 4: Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off with water.
Tip: Use this pack 1-2 times a week.
Lemon, sugar and glycerine
This 2 in 1 face scrub and pack helps to get rid of tan as well as moisturises your skin because of glycerine. Lemon acts as a natural lightening agent and helps restore the tanned areas of the skin. Sugar on the other hand aids to eliminate dead skin from your face. Using this scrub regularly will keep your skin glowing and tan free.
Step 1: Take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and sugar each.
Step 2: Take half a teaspoon of glycerine.
