We all have heard of healthy nut butter like peanut butter or even almond butter. Try this unique savoury seed butter which is equally creamy, healthy and tastes delicious with a light nutty and savoury aftertaste.
Tips to Remember:
The seeds need to be roasted before the process, as it helps release the natural oils in the seeds.
Serves: 4-5 servings
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 250 gm Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Like any nut butter, add the roasted pumpkin seeds into the mixing jar and give it a quick blitz. Keep repeating the process until the oils inside the pumpkin seeds are released and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- This process will require several turns of quick blitzes. Once the mixture achieves a smooth creamy texture, transfer it into a serving bowl. Add some salt if you like.
- This pumpkin seed butter can also be seasoned with any other spices of your choice, like red chilli powder, black pepper etc.
- This can also be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
