Face masks are highly effective in restoring the skin’s lost glory and keeping it flawless. The best part is that you do not have to shell out a lot of money on them. Just basic ingredients from the kitchen can do the trick! Here we let you in on some DIY face masks that are completely natural!
Oily skin – Those who have oily skin need a mask that can remove the excess sebum and oil secretions. For this, combine 2 spoons of multani mitti with 1 spoon of honey. Make it into a paste and apply to damp skin. Multani mitti soaks up all the excess oil while honey hydrates the skin and improves the texture.
Glowing skin – To make this, take 1 spoon of gram flour in a bowl and add a few drops of rose water till you reach a thick consistency. Add one teaspoon of aloe vera gel to this. Mix them well and apply onto the skin. All the ingredients in this help the skin to get intense hydration. The gram flour exfoliates the skin, making the skin appear brighter.
Acne free skin – To make this face mask, take 2 spoons of multani mitii. Add a few drops of tea tree oil and a spoon of honey. If you want, you can also add raw cold milk into this. Mix it until you get a paste of thick consistency. The tea tree oil helps reduce acne and kill bacteria that might cause future acne. Honey makes the complexion brighter and soothes the skin.
Brighter skin – Sun combined with pollution makes the skin go all lifeless. To infuse life into the skin, this mask can be used. To make this, take one tablespoon of yoghurt. Add half a lemon’s juice and one spoon of honey. The lemon and yoghurt will help remove all tan and clear the skin. It also helps in reducing the marks left by blemishes. Honey makes the skin smooth and supple.
These masks show results with regular usage. Use it at least twice a week to get good results.
