- Lemon – 1
- Whipping cream – 150 ml
- Piping bag – 1
Method:
- Take a pack of digestive biscuits and put them in a zip lock bag, and close the bag. Crush the biscuits by pounding them with a rolling pin until they resemble crumbs.
- Add the biscuit crumbs to a large bowl and add butter to it. Mix the butter and crumbs together and put them in an 8-inch cake tin.
- Press the crumb and butter mixture tightly in the pan and level the top with a spatula.
- Keep it in the freezer section of the refrigerator.
- Take half of the cream cheese and beat well until smooth. Add a can of condensed milk to it and again mix well until combined. Add the zest of 1 lemon to the mixture and lemon juice to the mixture, and again whisk it well.
- Take 2/3 cup of whipping cream and whisk it until stiff peaks are formed. Add this mixture to the cream cheese mixture and fold in gently with a spatula.
- Put some of the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture in a piping bag with a star nozzle.
- Layer the mixture on the biscuit mixture and shake and tap to form an even layer on it. Level the top with a flat knife and refrigerate.

- In a bowl, add milk powder, cardamom powder, icing sugar and the fresh cream from the pre-boiled milk. Mix well with a whisk until a smooth paste is formed.
- Cut the sides of the bread slices and cut out roundels from the bread.
- Cover a roundel with the milk powder mixture. Cover it with another roundel and make a sandwich or rasmalai.
- Prepare the milk by adding condensed milk to the cool, preboiled milk. Add the cardamom and some saffron to it. Mix well in a blender for a minute.
- Dip the prepared rasmalai sandwiches into the milk and keep them on the serving plate.
- Pour all the leftover milk over the rasmalai to drench it.
- Decorate with saffron strands and some crushed nuts on top.
- Cool in a refrigerator and serve.
