A quick and crunchy snack made with bread, a cheesy filling and a generous coating of aloo bhujia. Perfect for movie nights, study breaks or midnight cravings.
Prep time: 5 mins | Cook time: 8 mins | Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 4 bread slices
- ½ cup grated cheese
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 1 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 cup aloo bhujia
- Butter, for toasting
Method
- Trim the edges of the bread slices and flatten them gently with a rolling pin.
- Shape each slice into a cone and secure it with a toothpick.
- In a bowl, mix the grated cheese, onion, capsicum, mayonnaise and chilli flakes.
- Fill each bread cone with the cheesy mixture.
- Brush the cones lightly with butter.
- Toast them on a pan or in an air fryer until golden and crisp.
- Remove from the heat and let them cool slightly.
- Press the open edge of each cone into crushed aloo bhujia so it sticks to the cheese filling.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
